Individually adjustable climate control to each room and in all communal areas. Huge communal courtyard and garden. Specifically designed beauty room including professional hairdresser's salon. Centrally located communal dining and lounges. Library and sunrooms. Easy access and ample parking. State-of-the-art commercial kitchen and laundry. FIVE-STAR SERVICE Dorset Lodge prides itself on providing a premium level of personal care and service to all residents and their families. Dorset Lodge has been privately owned and managed by the same family for over 8years, giving them the desired experience, proven track record and passion to manage the residents care requirement's, the facility and staff. Dorset Lodge's service features include: Dorset Lodge only employs the best Personal Carers available; they are all qualified, experienced and trained to deliver a premium level of care and service. 24hr per day stand-up staff (staff are awake and working 24hrs per day). A personalised care service, including a detailed and constantly updated assessment of the residents needs and care requirements and a tailored Care Plan to meet each residents needs. The below services are included in the weekly fee: 24hr care. Bathing & showering assistance. Dressing assistance. Oral Care assistance- ie cleaning teeth. Toileting assistance & management of incontinence. Mobility assistance. Medication administration & management. Arranging any nursing services, such as injections. All food provided as per the menu & assistance with eating if required. Bed making and changing. Cleaning of the entire facility. Maintenance of the entire facility. Electricity and Gas. Laundering and ironing of linen and personal clothing. All meals are home cooked. A trained nutritionist designs the 4-week rotating menu that includes: breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea & drinks, dinner and supper.All ingredients are purchased fresh and cooked on-site. All meals can be catered for individual needs and dietary requirements. The kitchen is managed by qualified chefs who prepare meals with care, excellent presentation and beautiful taste. Dorset Lodge believes that quality food is a very important factor in ensuring residents are both happy and healthy Activities, exercise, on-site entertainment and diversional therapy programs including facility bus for regular outings and shopping trips. Regular visits from doctors, chemist, podiatrist, dentist, massage therapist, beautician and hairdresser. Dorset Lodge can manage these services as per the resident's and family needs. Religious and cultural needs catered for. Resident and Relative forum and surveys. Dorset Lodge aims to be as flexible as possible in order to provide everything that is required to ensure that each resident is cared for and happy with the service provided. All staff and management have a willingness to service and please and therefore almost every request can be met with a smile. Dorset Lodge accommodation and care is available on a short term, long term and permanent basis. Fees range from $560.00 to $595.00 per week- no bonds or ingoing fees applicable.
