Accommodation Bond and Fee Negotiation

Our "aged care fee negotiation" service has been designed for families who have already chosen the aged care home but have not yet agreed on the accommodation fees or extra service fees with the aged care provider.

In the event that the care recipient has been placed into an aged care home prior to financial arrangements being agreed or finalised with the aged care provider, the family can choose to employ our experienced placement consultants to work through the accommodation bond or extra service fees with the aged care provider.

Many families are unaware that "you are not required to tell an aged care provider the result (of the asset assessment) when negotiating an accommodation bond or charge amount unless you choose to."

Many families do not wish to directly negotiate fees with aged care providers when the subject of those fees involves a cherished loved one.

By employing our placement consultants, our family clients remove themselves from this activity but consequently secure a more appropriate financial outcome.

An experienced placement consultant can work with you and can describe various strategies that have been found useful when negotiating fees with the aged care provider.

The major benefit of this service is that it assists the family to reduce the cost of aged care.
